Steve is such a great teacher. He is very kind and patient and you never feel rushed or judged. He is full of smiles and enthusiasm and really takes time to put you at ease when learning new things (when you might be feeling a little scared playing unfamiliar things in front of someone). There are many times when my fingers just won't do what I want them to do and he will just tell me to take a deep breath, break things down and we'll play things a section at a time until it starts to feel more natural. Sometimes the lesson can end up playing the same chord over and over again but yet it never feels like lost time. We have been having our lessons via remote means (skype) during these difficult times but I really don't feel like I've 'lost out' on anything. I had some basic experience...
