Joe has now taught my 16 year old son electric guitar for about 3 years. He has successfully taught him through grade 1 to grade 5 Rock School. Not only does Joe focus on grading but also gives insight into all aspects of playing guitar such as music theory and all skills to become a better guitarist. Joe's method of teaching has kept my son engaged, so much so that he has decided to study guitar performance at ACM. I would highly recommend Joe as he is very professional, friendly and patient. He has a great rapport with my son and continues to help him develop his guitar skills.

My daughter is quite sensitive but feels fully comfortable in lessons with Joe and has made great improvements since working with him.
I looked at lessons on YouTube but quickly realised that wouldn't work for me and I needed lessons in person with someone who had the patience to work with a (very) late in life would-be-guitarist.

Over my 8 years of playing guitar and taking lessons with many teachers I have quite clearly progressed the most I ever have with Joe due to his fun way of teaching and being able to learn the songs that you want to learn.
6 months in now and my confidence has grown substantially to the point where I am feeling much more comfortable when practising at rehearsal studios with my friends with the ultimate aim of performing on stage in the near future.
I’ve had guitar lessons with Joe over the past 6 months; he’s made them highly enjoyable with a range of types of tuition - theory as well as lots of technique instruction too.
He's always giving clear and practical solutions, either through learning songs or drills.
