Sarah Rush Yoga in Southampton
Whether you're brand new to yoga or have been practising for years it's useful to remember that yoga isn't a competitive sport, there's nothing to “achieve”. The yoga I practise and teach is all about carving out some time and space to connect to yourself. One of my many favourite quotes is “yoga isn't about touching your toes it's what you learn about yourself on the way there”. When we give ourselves time to stop and press pause we can learn how to find a state of ease in our bodies, breathe better slow our thinking down and learn how to heal ourselves. Healing doesn't mean “get better” it has its origins in the old English word haelen which means “wholeness” or “being whole, sound and well”.

An oasis of tranquility in a frantic world.
The yoga itself is great for all levels so you can adapt it to how fits you, and it was amazing to spend some quality time focusing on yourself and bump.
Every class with Sarah is a journey towards my inner self, a way of recharging my batteries and let go of the unwanted thoughts and feelings.
She offers different types of yoga sessions, she has her own website where you can book yourself in for the classes and where you can pay as well.
The Pregnancy Yoga I did with Sarah carried me mentally through my pregnancy and helped me feel in control and healthy after having a tricky beginning.
She makes you feel welcome and comfortable and can't recommend her enough
Sarah was very welcoming, I enjoyed every session and found the classes were relaxing and helped me to feel more confident about labour.
I've been doing yoga with Sarah for some years, both in person and on zoom when not able to do live classes.
Sarah is the best yoga teacher I have ever been to, so knowledgable, calm and helpful, her classes are so uplifting!
She is warm and funny but just the right level of spiritual, peppering her classes with beautiful poetry.
