Sheffield Yoga Nature

Yoga Nature Sheffield Proudly established in 2004. We are a niche small community yoga school, offering a limited number of adult classes, personalised one to ones and primary school yoga classes. Our classes are potent, exploring the whole person not just the physical body, with an emphasis on embracing yogic lifestyles. Through simple movements and a focus on the power of breath awareness we attune to the seasons and make a deep earth connection. We encourage our students to explore yoga practises which suit their unique needs in that moment and to learn about all aspects of their personality through yoga. Just WONDERFUL
As a yoga teacher myself, I’m pretty picky about which yoga teachers I go to, and I have to say Jo and Ben’s classes are my absolute favourite.
Their approach to the sessions, their knowledge and their friendliness and warmth makes it feel like a community I’m happy to be a part of.
As I am a great nature lover too, I love how Jo and Ben are so connected to the natural world and the changing seasons.
Jo and Ben are very knowledgable and will share useful information about the yoga tradition and help you work with your own energy and experience.
After twenty years of practising yoga with Yoga Nature, I highly recommend the classes to anyone wishing to explore yoga with true meaning, and that also provides very positive health and mindfulness outcomes.
It's clear that Jo and Ben put a lot of care and dedication into their classes and to their continual learning.
I particularly enjoy the fact that the classes extend beyond the posture work by throwing in bits of history of yoga and generally showing how to live the yogi life day-to-day.
Because she takes the time and trouble to familiarise everyone's personal difficulties you feel that, even in a full class, she is talking directly to you.
Jo and ben really care about the community they have created and have ensured there are plenty of on line classes on their site now that classes can t be in person - they also do live streams at different times/ days to enable everyone to take part.
