As a designer this has been the most supportive learning environment I could have wished for.
I had the privilege to attend a couple of day workshops, facilitated by Stine @Skandihus Walthamstow.
Third time now at Skandihus snd really enjoying learning and developing skills in this friendly east London gem.
The good thing about the Taster day is that you don't need any form of training to enjoy the day, as their training is catered for all- comers.

Anna would light incense and have music playing before we arrived, and treated everyone in the group with endless kindness and patience.
I really love this place, when I have been able to get there it does wonders for my mental health which no amount of anything else seems to have achieved.
I attended a beginner class in Walthamstow, the studio is really beautiful and down a very quaint cobbled street.
The course was well structured and covered the basic techniques from making pinch pots and hand building to throwing, as well as glazing.
