I have to learn Portuguese for work and Maria is helping me learn the language from scratch. Her tuition is fabulous as she customises the lessons according to my needs. She is very enthusiastic and encouraging. However, she is also strict and makes you work hard enough to guarantee a fair amount of progress every week. As a result, in just two months I went from zero Portuguese knowledge to being able to read short stories and to hold a basic conversation
