Drum tuition is offered during school term time, 38 weeks per year. Lessons are delivered both in person and virtually at Drum Hive, based in Redbourn, Hertfordshire, UK.

Having guided 100s of students in learning the drums, I have taught from the age of 6 right up to adults into their 60s and 70s. If you are seeking lessons for a young child, please get in touch or book a taster lesson to discover if your child is at the right age to begin learning. Occasionally young learners need a little more time to develop physically, to enable them to get the most out of their lessons.

I understand that circumstances change, so if you do wish to terminate your lessons with Drum Hive, written notice of 6-weeks via email is required. Once your notice has been received you will be given a date to cancel your standing order from. This allows the chance to offer your lesson slot to others and you will be refunded if a new pupil is enrolled within this time. Therefore, your final lesson date may vary.

With many students and limited lesson times available, it is regrettably not possible to reschedule a missed lesson without notice. If you provide at least 72 hours notice of a planned absence then you may be offered an alternative lesson slot, limited to twice per term. However, if an alternative time cannot be found or agreed upon, or if notice given is less than 72 hours, then that lesson will be forfeited.
