Sad Story…….nnDetermined to utilise the “ Twixmas`’ time to the maximum ( and to rest my foot plagued with Plantar Facitis) I again challenged myself to knit socks, yes on a circular needle and yes, with thinner yarn and on finer fiddly needles, and then needed the use of four DPNS needles - (tricky business) and involved not only downloading the pattern and then printing it off but also the continual use of UTube ( constantly waiting and being interrupted by Adverts). Following many aborted attempts I finally managed to get the hang ( Ever so S L O W L Y) of it .nCast on = Done . Turned the heel-Done. Counted stitches = Constantly.n(Each round produced a different figure).nEureka !! It at last looks like it’s taking shape ….its a sock , a sock ( or part of one ).nnHere’s the sad bit coming up……… its ENORMOUS !!!!nI have knitted a sock for a GIANT, what’s worse is that the clever Godess of perfect socks on UTube told me to knit two at a time.nnIf you are still with me , you’ve probably guessed the sad part, yes ,heartbreakingly, I have to frog the whole lot. Devastated...
