The Covid pandemic and working from home had taken its toll on both my mental and physical health and I knew I needed to do something before I became too unwell.
Before my first session I worried that I didn’t know what the poses were called and wouldn’t be able to keep up, but the way Sophie instructs you gently and calmly, step by step, to follow the movements means you can soon relax into your own flow.
Sophie leads the class in a sympathetic and calm way, encouraging each of us to listen to our bodies and do what is right for each of us
The classes are varied to focus on different aspects of the body, the changing seasons and levels of energy in the room.
I have only attended a couple of sessions so far but I leave feeling refreshed and relaxed, I particularly liked the Friday session which was a great way to end the working week and prepare for a restful weekend.
