I have been going to the Pilates class in Handbridge since June, Emma’s classes are very varied and enjoyable, most of all it has helped my posture and balance.
Each week we use a different piece of equipment which keeps it interesting - but still working your whole body.
Had a fabulous Japanese face massage with Emma this week, so relaxing!
She is patient with you if you are a bit rubbish and works you hard enough to get the benefit of the exercises, but not so hard that you lose enthusiasm.

I feel super comfortable in the classes and Emma takes time to explain each move whilst keeping the classes upbeat.
On a recent visit to the hospital the surgeon who had previously advised steroid injections in my back or surgery to burn away the nerves, was happy for me to continue with the Pilates as it is having a beneficial effect on my pain levels.
After my first session I knew I’d become a regular as Emma made me feel calm and at ease with every new movement introduced.
I now have little or no back pain and I am more flexible than I was 20 years ago.
I had never done reformer Pilates before and Emma has just helped me in so many ways, I look forward to each session and honestly if you have never tried it give it a go!
